Indo-Pacific Advisory is pleased to announce the joining of Simran Sharma as our new IPAC Associate and Strategist. Based in India, Simran supports IPA’s business development and engages with clients in expanding operations in India.
Simran brings experience in political risk consulting, policy research, and strategic partnerships. Prior to IPA, she worked with Amazon’s Corporate Security division in Washington, D.C., and held roles at Bower Group Asia, the Near East South Asia Center (U.S. DoD), and the Observer Research Foundation. She began her career as a Development Consultant with the Gandhi Fellowship Program in Mumbai, Maharashtra.
Her interests lie at the intersection of India’s foreign and technology policy, with a broader geopolitical focus on South and Southeast Asia. She also co-authored a chapter in The Return of the Taliban with Dr. Hassan Abbas and represented India’s Arctic policy at the Arctic Circle Assembly in Iceland.
Simran holds a Master’s in Law and Diplomacy from The Fletcher School at Tufts University
